Appalachian Spring [in your step]

Growing up with ballet, this one was as inspiring to me as White Nights, Singin’ In The Rain, Tap, or The Red Shoes. The film adaptation was choreographed by Martha Graham, based on the iconic ballet composed by Aaron Copeland. It’s way more abstract & experimental than other ballets on film which ALWAYS draws me in like a positive ion. It’s like theater but instead of speaking, the characters and the chorus communicate through graceful non-verbal phrases.
It’s well worth your time if you are remotely interested in dance.
